Low and poor resourced countries account for about 85% of the global disease burden. The global share for scientific output in Low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) is less than 1%. According to the authorship trends in the Lancet Global Health, only 35% of the authors come from low- and middle-income countries. These low authorship rates indicate the lack of research mentorship and training capacity. All these factors contribute to the weakness of the health systems in LMICs. It is crucial to strengthen the health system to consist of scientific knowledge education in order to address the local, national and global health challenges.
To solve this problem, Oli Health Magazine Organization (OHMO) focuses on enhancing research knowledge in Low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) through its long-term intensive research training and mentorship programs under OHMO Global Research Fellowship. Oli Health Magazine Organization(OHMO) is a legally registered non-profit scientific organization.
