Christin Berjaoui


Christin Berjaoui Biography:

  • Christin Berjaoui is a Med3 Student at Beirut Arab University in Lebanon. She lived her childhood between Lebanon & Venezuela. 

  • Christin is currently the Local Public Health Officer at the Lebanese Medical Students International Committee (LeMSIC) for the second consecutive year where she organizes and participates in several projects. 

  • Christin is Certified in Disaster Medicine Training SEMPER from Stanford Online School of Medicine, as well as in Global Health: Quality and Safety from Harvard Online T.H Chan School of Public Health.

  • She has a vast experience in delivering training sessions whether in person or online as she had delivered several webinars within LeMSIC during the COVID-19 Response Project, as well as trainings tackling capacity building. She also took part as an assistant trainer for social literacy and STEM with children who have visual impairment,

  • She is a very active citizen among her society, taking leading roles within several organizations, whether with the Ministry of Public Health, or with various NGOs within the American University of Beirut Medical Center like Ties & Children’s Cancer Center St. Jude) where she provides from her free time to spend it with Cancer Patients by doing a variety of activities, and with Champs Fund where she promotes awareness about sudden cardiac arrest and performs free EKG for the young athletes. 

  • Other NGOs include ETI where she as well as SAID NGO for Colorectal Cancer, and many more!

Some Facts about her: 

  • She had 3 failing attempts before getting accepted into Med School. 

  • She is an Archer with 2 medals and 2 trophies, she is also a painter and a flutist too!

  • She is trilingual, with Spanish & Arabic being her native languages, and English as a second language. She is also studying Korean, French & Japanese. 

  • Whenever she has free time, she benefits from it not only in volunteering, but also in studying as many online courses as she can where she has gained over 50 certificates (in a variety of majors whether medical and on-medical) within just the previous summer.
