Amanuel Alemayehu, a Medical Student from Ethiopia. He joined Addis Ababa University school of medicine (Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital) in 2015 scoring an excellent score in University entrance examination. Involved in several humanitarian, education and community healthcare based projects that seeks to empower women, men and children in Ethiopia. He is currently ‘Community Service Director’ at Rotaract Club of Fanos, working on different projects which focus on community education and health. He is project Co-manager of ‘project RHD’; Project RHD is dedicated on shining light on the number one cause of heart disease in Ethiopia. It aims on creating awareness, to do mass screenings and researches in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He is also part of a Program which encompass two projects under it both striving to address the community on the lack of health awareness. One working on preparing awareness creating campaigns dedicating every month for a prevalent health issue within the community and the other works on developing application software and publishing a book that provides basic and needed information on prenatal, natal, postnatal care and family planning. He is also ‘Technical Support Division, Co-Director’ at Ethiopian Medical Students Association(EMSA)-Addis Ababa, working along with different Health science students on different Projects. Amanuel also took part in many humanitarian action in different campaigns by actively volunteering. His dream is to become a global community problem solver and a good doctor. He grew up in Ethiopia. He likes soccer, Space Science, computer stuffs and graphics designing, listening music, watching documentaries and Movies.” Through helping others, we will find the best in us”.
