Arush Lal


Arush Lal is from USA. Arush Lal is the Global Policy and Advocacy Associate at IntraHealth International and the Frontline Health Workers Coalition and a Fellow with the Global Health Corps, USA.

Merging a background in business with an interest in global health security and health systems strengthening, Arush has significant experience in international health policy, working across six countries. He founded and led teams to provide critical medications and health education to 1,600+ patients, supported progress for the International Health Regulations and addressed the Zika epidemic during his time at HHS/OGA, lobbied to Congress on behalf of the Global Fund for AIDS, TB, and Malaria, and worked as a health worker with Partners in Health and at a trauma hospital in the Dominican Republic. Arush is a vocal advocate for youth engagement, helping launch a United Nations Centre of Expertise in Atlanta and working with universities to develop curriculum that better trains the next generation of leaders in global health systems. A passionate proponent of universal health coverage, Arush has also spoken at global platforms including CUGH’s annual conference and WHO’s Youth Forum during the Fourth Global Forum on Human Resources for Health.

Arush will soon be pursuing an MSc in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the London School of Economics as a Rotary Global Grant Scholar.
