Dr. Lysa Carolle Niteka

Dr. Lysa Carolle Niteka is a graduate from University of Rwanda, college of medicine and health science. She’s currently working as medical doctor in a Rwandan public hospital, KIBAGABAGA District Hospital. Dr. Lysa is passionate about Universal Health Coverage, that drives her to be part of an association while she was still a medical student which advocates for vulnerable patients that are unable to access healthcare services because of their financial status. In April 2019 she completed an online course by WHO on « politique de financement de la santé pour la couverture sanitaire universelle ». She dreams of an Africa where everyone despite where he/she comes from, or how much he/she earns per month could have access to quality health care. In her free time, she likes to hang out with her friends, read books, watch movies and explore new places.
